: Located on the same side of the street as the ocean, the Orchid house has limited view of the water from the master bedroom. Guests enjoy easy access to the whitewater coastline. Soothing sounds of the waves crashing along the shoreline can be heard day and night. This spacious 1-bedroom 1-bath house is an affordable accommodation for an individual or couple wanting to be close to the ocean. This house is not oceanfront, but located on the oceanside of the street with limited views. Spacious, fully-equipped, modern, and spotlessly clean. Guests are welcome to walk along the coastline in either direction. The Orchid house is located just south of Hilo in a quiet, residential, neighborhood, about 25-30 minute drive from the Hilo airport. Visit the Volcanoes National Park, home to the active volcano about 30 minutes from the house. Close to Big Island Hawaii guest activities and the warm pond swimming area (about 15 minutes by car). About 25 minutes drive to Hilo swimming, snorkeling, and surfing beaches. Extended (monthly) stays offered by arrangement. High speed internet access.

Spacious, Open, Light, and comfortable with enhanced TV/VCR, stereo with CD Player, high speed internet access, telephone, answering machine, and video library.

Fully-equipped kitchen with all modern amenities. Ceramic top range and oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, toaster oven, grille, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, rice cooker, vegetable steamer, and all stainless cookware.

Large bedroom with KING bed, and sliding glass doors opening to ocean pathway.

Full Bathroom with tub/shower combination. All linens and towels provided.
Entire Property

Mango house is ocean front (pictured in distance) located on the same property. Both houses have separate driveways and parking. Both homes are private, and are separated by a freestanding garage (not shown) located in between.

 View of the lava coastline. Walk along the cliff for outstanding whitewater views.
